These rice cakes are a simple pantry staple that I find myself reaching for when I want something light and crunchy. The larger size is useful because there’s enough surface area to add toppings such as peanut butter, cream cheese, hummus, or other spreads. The salt-free variety also makes them a nice neutral base rather than having the flavor of the rice cake compete with whatever you put on top. The texture is light and crisp, and they’re convenient because there’s no preparation involved. Taste, texture, versatility, convenience, and value are all positives for me. They did not crumble easily but were also not too stale or tough. Overall, a good basic snack to keep around.

I was looking for something salt, free, but still tasty. These are really good and they are very satisfying. These rice cakes have been a good addition to some of my meal plans and as a snack.

Like most salt free foods these taste a lot like styrofoam packing. You do get used to it, however, and the texture becomes more of interest. i'm told I should try peanut butter or hummus to spice things up. Definitely a low calorie way to feel fuller without exceeding the daily salt limit on renal diets. Recommended!

Great for those on special diets (low salt in particular) - they add almost nothing contraindicated by any diet that I know of, so they're a good guilt-free snack. Of course, they're dry and not very tasty, but that's true for most salt free items. I also like thin rice cakes, but I don't think Quaker makes them - available at Trader Joe's in plain and half-chocolate dipped). These have a bit of flavor, just have some water nearby.

These were good, but more expensive than my local grocery store. Seems Amazon is hiking their prices.

These are great low calorie and low carb snacks. Really tasty with broiled cheese on top.

Liked ve very much. I’m on a renal diet so I found that I can make pizza snacks out of them and stay within my renal diet which is absolutely lovely. It took about 30 seconds in the microwave and they were very good.
