Alternate way to pair Firestick
My Sony tv is 6 years old. I followed the written and YouTube directions. No success. I did not get a black screen nor the Firestick logo on the screen. I then used my tv setting for blue tooth and pair. Now it works great

Dud? Does not pair with any tv
I got this remote so that I could power my tv on and off and have more control, but I cannot get it to pair with any tv. I tried every troubleshooting suggestion on 3 separate tv's and nothing works. I know the batteries work because the led light blinks when I try to pair it. Too bad I can't return it anymore.

Easy to Set-up
So easy to set up. Literally unpacked this remote, put the batteries in, hit the power button, and it did the rest synchronizing with the TV. Other remotes were a real pain in the a$$. A reasonable price, and the ease of set up makes it worth every penny.

TRUST THE TECH SUPPORT TEAM!
I ordered the Amazon Firestick 4k max, and it arrived the next day. I spent all day trying to get it to work, but couldn't get past the language screen. After finally calling tech support, it turns out that the remote was bad. The tech promptly sent a new remote that programmed quickly. Now I can finally watch TV in my home after nearly four days. Amazon tech support is TOP TIER, and I knew they would find the problem and fix it. I'm so grateful for the rep who got it done!

Extra remote
Worked great with my Fire TV straight out of the box. The buttons work well, no tendency to stick or wobble. The only complaint I have is that the Hulu button, as shown in the photo for the remote on Amazon, was replaced with a YouTube button. Otherwise, I'd give it 5 stars.

Go with this one!
Should have stuck with the Amazon Fire TV brand initially. Instead, I went for an off brand hoping for a cheap fix and saving 10 dollars but it would not sync to my TV. This remote instantly synced upon putting the batteries in and no additional setup or troubleshooting was needed. Very functional and at just a few dollars more than the off brand, works way better.
