Bonsaii 12-Sheet Micro Cut Heavy Duty Paper Shredder for Home Office

This is a really nice shredder. I have been using a heavy duty one that started to screech. Actually scarred the dogs. This one is great for a home office. Compared to the big one I had absconded from our closed office, this one is quiet, fast, and best of all east to empty. It all dumps into a tall kitchen trash bag. I really like it and it suits my shredding needs perfectly.

I use this paper shredder in my home office. The compact paper shredder works as described. I like the micro cut for security. I don't use the paper shredder very often, but when I do have some outdated confidential documents to discard, I use this paper shredder. The name "Bonsaii" makes me think of very sharp blades. I've shredded credit cards too and it does a nice job on those too. It has not yet "overheated" and I it's worth the value for the money. I also used professional lubricating sheets and it makes the shredder operate smoother and drops the cuts easier.

Great paper shredder. Works well and shreds paper so tiny you could use it as confetti. Holds large amount for its size. A little loud, but that doesn’t bother me. I’m very happy with this product.

I've only been using this for a week, so I can't speak to longevity, but the I'm happy with the shredder's performance. For the price, it's very good. The only "assembly" required is popping the wheels onto the base, which is very simple. The shredding abilities are good. The only thing it got briefly stuck on was when I inserted a stack of register receipts and it balked halfway through, but it adjusted itself and when I reinserted the receipts (turning them upside down so that the now 1/2 shredded sides were on top) it had no problem. My reason for knocking off a star his the drawer. It doesn't work smoothly. It needs to be forced back into position and the plastic on the sides is flimsier than it should be. There is absolutely no smooth gliding action or even ease of pulling the drawer out and back in. I figure that's the tax to pay for getting one that's half the price of others for this confetti cut. Disappointing and surely doesn't seem built to last.

I highly recommend this paper shredder. This shredder automatically reverses to clear paper jam without having to use the controls yourself. This paper shredder has very great security, amazing for shredding personal information. It's very high quality for its price.

The bonsaii 12 sheet paper shredder is the BEST that I have used. Love the small size of the shredded paper, it is thorough and it is quiet. The pull out basket makes for easy disposal of shredded paper. Well built. Easy to use. Perfect for home use.

It works great as a shredder. We’ve been oiling it often and the shredder is good. Unfortunately, 2 months in, the bucket corner holding the wheel broke. The plastic here is very thin and once broken, it's not possible to repair. We tried gluing and taping but we can't put the wheel back on. I contacted Bonsaii support and they offered coverage under warranty. All we had to do was send them an explanation and video of the issue - super simple process and hassle-free. Absolutely would recommend this shredder and company.

Works very well; does not disappoint. No jamming while shredding multiple pages. Easy close, sturdy door.

Great little shredder. So quiet the crunching of paper is louder than the motor, which is a vast improvement to my last shredder that made me concerned about using it at night. It's more expensive than others but what made it worth it was - 12 sheet shredding (my old one was 15 sheet but whined at about 5. This one crunches merrily away at 12), 60 min runtime!! (great for end of the year shredding), removable bin with window so you can see when it needs to be emptied and don't have to vacuum up all the bits from turning it upside down like my old one. It also does a little extra whir at the end so it doesn't collect cuttings bunches in the blades. The casters are a nice touch. Worth paying a little more for this good shredder.

I just plugged my unit in minutes ago. Ordered this product and got it the next day. This is my 3rd paper shredder, all from different companies. This one is the biggest and the best. I needed a bigger one. My old one, was jamming up and would over heat in like 10 minutes. This one is great. I first put 6 papers through, then 8 then 10 and it ate them up like a hungry squirrel. I love the big window. It is not that noisy. It shuts down somewhat after the papers have gone through. It sounds like it was made with care and a real professional unit. It shreds the paper up much smaller than my other unit. I don't see this product over heating as I have it for just my home and it could go weeks without being used. It is a great idea to shred important documents these days with all the identify theft out there. My review here is based on just a few minutes worth of use. If things change, I will update here.
