My eye dr instructed me to get these for chronic dry eyes . So soothing and helps so much . Great for a spa at home night , can also freeze them for ice therapy !

I bought this brand to save money, but it isn't good. The eye patches do not heat up evenly. They do not heat up in the directed amount of time. I have a small head, and the band is tight when I have it as loose as it will go. I will not buy this again.

I like them. I just wish they would stay warm longer. I need them warm for 15 minutes to follow my doctor wishes.

I've had to repair my "eyeball warmers" twice in the two weeks I have them. The seam on the bottom of one warmer separated from the warmer, leaking little heater seeds, and the head band had to be secured to the warmers. But this is a comfortable, easy to use product.

This product was less than half the cost of the brand name, and works just as well. The strap, however, is too small for my big head-no matter, I just lay it on my eyes. The odd thing is it notes a 20 second warmup time in the microwave-maybe mine is slightly smaller, but I leave it in there for 1 1/2 minutes to get anywhere, and it works fine. Overall, very happy with product!

After reading the reviews here, I figured that people are simply overheating the product in the microwave and not paying attention to the instructions, since the compresses (in my experience) never got warm enough to feel hot, much less burn a hole through the fabric. And "moist heat" was a no-show.I followed the instructions, heating for 20 seconds first, then adding 10 second increments up to 1 minute. The eyepatches (tried single and then both together) never got warm enough to feel much on the skin, and if there was a bit of warmth, it faded quickly.I wasn't going to risk overheating it just to set a fire in my microwave.Maybe it's the ceramic beads this product uses, but I'm returning these, since they're not what I was looking for, and will be looking instead for eye masks or spa masks filled with buckwheat, which hold heat and stay warm for much longer than this product.

I've been using Bruder masks for years for dry eye. This looked almost the same for much less. I heat my mask for 26 seconds. I tried the same for the geniani. It was barely warm. So I did another 20 seconds. I kept going until the plate was too hot to pick up. And it still wasn't warm enough to create a moist heat for my eyes. I already threw the box away, so I can't get a refund from Amazon. Going back to the Bruder.
