(and not over-powering) My hands are so soft when I use it. It's great for everyday use on normal days, leaving my hands feeling great all day. It is strong enough to sooth my dry skin when cold weather sets in and I use it few times a day on my poor irritated knuckles. It completely soaks into my skin without leaving it feeling greasy or oily--I usually hate the feel of lotion on the palms of my hands because of that greasy feeling that doesn't seem to rub away, but this doesn't do that! I first bought it for may daughter who was on medication that dried out her skin. She loved it so much I started stealing it from her and then just had to have my own.
