Okay so yes it does clean. It's noisy but then again it is a sonic cleaner :-). In order for it to clean it has to be noisy. I usually use the normal cleaning mode. Others the lower frequency it's supposed to be more powerful I generally find it does not clean as well. The Degas function basically just turns the unit on and off. Kind of cool for the first 2 minutes :-).It would be really nice if this machine would allow you to go all the way up to 90 minutes. It does not. It limits you to 30 minutes. Why? I don't know. But it should go up to 90.Another cool feature that I would want to see is the ability to alternate the frequencies. Unless you're just going to sit there pushing a button to go from one frequency to the other it would be nice to have the system alternate the frequencies in thus get the best of both worlds, fully utilizing the dual frequency system.The heating element is okay. It really takes off though when the unit is running fully. It will support preheating which means that you had the ability to turn on the heating element before actually turning on the unit. If it's just to heat the water it will take some time.Just like almost everything else with Amazon, I would imagine that most of the elements are made by the same manufacturer. That's just a guess though. Even if it's from a different manufacturer my guess is it might be the same on the inside.All in all decent unit. This is my first unit so I cannot compare it to anything else. It works. It makes a noise. It cleans. It doesn't dance. It doesn't do my bills. I wish it did though.

Don’t buy this - it will not last for very long. The temperature adjust started cycling and would not stop. Then the circuit board started smoking. Buy a better model.

Overall, I like the product. It does the job out is designed to do. However, the instructions are translated from Chinese and are hard to follow. Also, the buttons on the device do not match the instructions. I don't understand how to switch from low to high frequency.
