I bought these for years but never from amazon...I replaced this filter in my goldfish’s tank before I went to bed. When we woke up in the morning my 6 year old goldfish was dead. Do not buy these!!! I’m not sure what they were contaminated with but my fish was healthy before I changed the filter.

Too small, I have to cut them into pieces to use them.
