A: Raised bezels also help but for additional protection against drops and scratches tempered glass would be better than the built-in plastic screen protector they used to use.

A: Yes. I don’t use it. It’s a cover for the front.

A: I believe what they refer to as the 4 pieces are 1.) the holster that clips to your belt and the 3 pieces that make up the case which is 2). the rubber outer covering and 3.) and 4). the 2 hard plastic pieces snap together directly around the phone.
