5310A Wildlife Camera with 940nm Covert Infrared, 1080P Video Recording with Audio, 44 Led Infrared Array

This was an expensive trail camera from Amazon costing well over one hundred pounds. Worked fine at first but failed once out of warranty. Searching the internet I discovered websites with extensive information on how these cameras can fail. Mine appears to make all the right noises etc but the monitor screen is just grey. Following all available advice including the purchase of expensive contact cleaner for the slide switch (this is reportedly very vulnerable), I am still left with a piece of junk. Sending the camera for an out of warranty repair would not only take two to three months but cost nearly as much as the camera.

Once I had the right batteries (Eneloop Pro) and a decent SD card (Sandisk) this camera is a lot of fun.However I am disappointed in the clarity of the video at night, the picture is very grainy and flickers as if some of the LEDs are going on and off.

I have bought two of these. Firstly bits broke off easily on each although I was more careful with the second one. In the second one the screen has lines across it and it is becoming more and more less visible so you can't change settings easily. This happened within the guarantee period but because it came from Spain via Amazon I couldn't send it for repair under the guarantee. I will never buy a Ltl Acorn again and am looking for another make. The only good thing I can say about it, is that I have had very good videos from it.

So pleased. This gives great quality pictures it does just what it supposed to it's not too sensitive and it takes great pictures. Great to watch every week what wildlife have been in my garden.Very good build quality and no problems with weather damage.

Bought to observe hedgehog activity in the garden which it does mostly well. IR video could be sharper. Get a 16GB card if you're going to record much video. Good value for money.

Had this a couple of years, and it's been nothing but a pain. Firstly, the hinge on the baseplate cover broke after about a year. And then it simply doesn't bother switching on when it's supposed to be on. And finally, the batteries last about a minute. Basically, it is really awkward to use, unreliable and eats batteries for breakfast. Never again.

Excellent for first 3 months, then a bit hit and miss for capturing images. For past 12 months the only night time images have been when there is a light source present and that generally over exposes the image. Any bright light also ruins daytime images. It doesn't always adhere to the time parameters set. It still works in certain light, but it does not satisfy my requirements so was a complete waste of money.

Still experimenting with positioning and settings. A still pic of two cats fighting in the middle of the night but nothing of it on video. Has caught me numerous times wandering around in the garden. No exciting wildlife yet.
