When the sun shines on my screen during wiper action, it almost goes white due to the myriad drops of water spread by the wipers. will this help?

Very efficient and good cleaner- been using for years- very, very easy. I always use it for inside as well with absolutely no problems. Likewise do use it on the wipers as the instructions say, do NOT use washing up liquid- do NOT use washing up liquid in the washers ever!!

Id use this for my house windows, how long would i need to use this after the first time, just once or twice a year like other treatments, thanks

As a WINDSCREEN cleaner I use it as necessary on my cars windscreens- excellent for clearing flies and road grime. It does what it says on the bottle. I've no idea how often you would need to use it on 'non-moving forward on the road' ordinary house windows.

does it dry to a powder

You do not leave it on long enough to dry. Apply fluid, in small quantity, to a slightly damp cloth, and buff glass to a shine. I suspect you may be thinking of the Mer car polish/wash, which will leave a streaky powder. You can use Mer polish/wash on glass, but DO NOT use in this manner on windscreen.

Is this ok to clean inside greasy/dirty car windscreens?

We clean all our windows with this - car/van and house inside and out. Works a treat. Hope this is helpful.

better than I'd hoped.

It helped to remove a peculiar surface treatment of my screen which was causing me an issue driving at night into on coming headlights, or into sun especially when it was raining with wipers going..It dries white so don't spill it on your plastic interior, though I removed my 'accident' with a very damp cloth.It also highlights every ding in the screen (wow what a lot I got !) as it dries white in the holes.I am happy with the end result however. 100% a good buy.

MER windscreen cleaner is no good at all and we wish we could give this product a minus reting.

Totally useless! After following instructions implicity we ended up with huge streaks on the car window whenever the screen became damp and the wipers were used. We claimed back our money. It appears that the UK company manufacturing it is no longer in exist3nce s9 cannoy be contacted.

German efficiency disappoints

Expected it to clear the smears as highly recommended by Honest John. It didn't. Maybe it needs several tries? Expensive.

Great Product

This is by far the best product I've found for cleaning not only car windscreens but all types of glass. It goes a very long way too, so although it might seem expensive it should last you ages so is really far better value than the price suggests. Mer car shampoo and polish are also excellent too.

A vey good product.

My car's windscreen smeared terribly when wet. I cleaned both the windscreen and the wipers with this Mer cleaner and everything is so much clearer with no smearing. I expect to do the same again on occasion but with such good results this is a no brainer.

Have used this product before. Although more expensive than some of the other glass cleaners I have found MER to provide smear free windscreen which other products fail to do. Also works on indoor glass and gives better finish than the domestic glass cleaners

Not as good as a well known brand. This interior car dash cleaner leaves bits of fluff everywhere all over the car.
