Here is an extensive list of answers to questions about Mah-Jong. Some are general questions about the game, but the majority relate to the British Mah-Jong Association (BMJA) rules. They are mostly questions put by visitors to the author's website, 'Mah-Jong, British Rules' ( MahjongBritishRules.wordpress.com ) which was launched in November 2008. A lot are ones that most players are likely to ask themselves at some point in their play. Some are from people still learning the game. Others are more esoteric, relating to unlikely scenarios or obscure consequences of the rules that the authors could hardly have been expected to anticipate. Sometimes a one sentence, or a Yes/No, answer is sufficient, but often the author expands on this to give a more detailed reply.
