**Q: does it have any fixing holes in the bottom. if it does what diameter and positions?**
A: It has a metal grill in the bottom which allows you to fix it to something solid in a number of locations. I found it very simple to fix. it definately needs to be screwed down as it is not very heavy & could blow over in high winds or be removed by pesky kids. The only issue I had with this box is that it does let in water in high winds solved by putting foam backed tape around edges of the entry doors to the box.

Well made and reasonably priced. The product being aluminium is light and needs bolting to the ground or at the very least weighting down. Poor instructions are the only let down.
