Good quality, easy installation.

Very little airflow when closed and the locking mechanism is not the greatest but the cats have figured it out and they are amazed at the ease of use. It has durability and if it doesn’t fit that’s on you or the cats because one of you created the opening. It has suitability for the purpose it was intended for.

I replaced an older cat door that we had feeding from our basement window to our enclosed back porch. It matched up perfectly with the holes of my previous door so that's great. I'd replace the basement window with plexiglass and then cut a hole for the cat door. I needed to use my own nuts and bolts to clamp it into place. The included hardware was very limited. It has independent latches for in and out. They're kind of difficult to operate. The felt sealing the opening fell out after a day. But overall good value considering the price.

Functions. Dependable and keeps the weather/nature outside. Easy install. We have 6 cats, 3 in which are big backs lol. All of them fit through the door. However, a little disappointed, magnet that keeps door closed, continuously falls out and finally fell out and we're not able to locate it. I'm praying my kitties didn't ingest it. As for the slider locks, they're kind hard to move. Going to see about adding a small amount of lubricant to get them to slide better. Love that there's also 4 picture diagrams printed on the door frame to tell you how to lock it/open it and change the door swing to either swing out/prevent them from coming back in, or swings in to let me cats in/prevent my cats from going back out.

The magnet on this door is PERFECTLY strong! We made a removable insert for our window because we are renting and we like to be able to take the cat door completely out when we close the house up at night (and keep our kitty inside). We used a piece of wood and 2 pieces of pool noodles. The cat flap door is so sturdy, the magnet keeps it closed perfectly (we have it at a bit of an angle) and it’s plenty big enough for my 8 pound cat to come and go through it. Only downside was that one of the screw caps was missing, but it’s no big deal.

The only good thing I can say about this cat door is that it looks decent..hardware also decent. Good size for average cat. But The front and the back of frame do not fit together, and when you do put them together, the holes do not match up. I still installed the door, but the front and back are not perfectly matched up and the screws can not go in straight or even go all the way through. I had to remove the red and blue pieces of plastic, aka locking mechanisms, because after installed, the clear hard plastic door was stuck shut and could not be pushed through because the locking mechanisms were blocking it.(while in open position) My cat still cannot push this door open, it is too hard. He did manage to get his paw jammed while trying. The magnet is way too strong. The only way in or out is if I tape it open(see picture), and that just defeats the whole purpose! Same as leaving my door open… The only reason I kept this cat door is because it’s the only one that has the measurements I needed to cover an already existing hole in my house door, which was made for a previous product that was just a bit too tall to fit. If I could replace the hard plastic door with a soft plastic flap that would be helpful, but I don’t know how I can make that work… There is too much wrong with this product. I only got it for the smaller measurements, as all the good quality pet doors are too big. Not fair.

Exaclty what I expected. I'd say buy the next size up from what you are thinking. But overall, works fine. Cutout sheet worked fine.
