Did the trick
Used this for a repair to a badly cracked exhaust manifold (cast) was easy enough application after cleaning off with a stainless wheel . Followed the package instructions and it lasted long enough to keep the car on the road.

You need to search the internet regarding the correct method of using this material.
The instructions supplied with my Quicksteel were very poor. I did my best to cover three hairline cracks in an exhaust manifold, but the result was most disappointing, and the cracks soon reappeared. I made a search online for more information and eventually found much better instructions which could have worked, but meanwhile I decided to fit a new manifold.

Crumbled away
Used this on an exhaust manifold with hairline cracks. Ensured the cracks were free of contaminants before and the quiksteel cured for long enough after.I'd probably say it lasted 1 drive before the hardened quiksteel cracked and crumbled away.
