I’m surprised how enjoyable it is to use this facial cleansing powder. I love that the packaging is all just paper products. And all of the ingredients are vegan and that there are not even that many ingredients. The smell is sort of what you would expect it smells between a mix of flour and flax seeds. It is a little tricky to use it in the shower just because the packaging won’t last in the shower. So I just keep it on the counter right outside of my shower, and pour a little into my hand when I’m ready to use it. Just mix it with a little bit of water and form into a paste through mixing. You then massage this on to your face for a little while and then rinse it clean. It is a very unique experience because when you rinse it off at truly leaves your face clean but not squeaky. Clean more of like a moisturized clean. It’s hard to describe, but it’s absolutely lovely. I’m super happy to add this to my skin care routine. Again I can’t say enough how nice it is the packaging is earth friendly at and that the ingredients are as well.

According to the directions on the package, this sounds like more of a mask than a cleanser so that is how I am using it. It is a lot like a Burt's Bees product I had (and loved) many years ago before they sold out to Clorox and changed their formulas.SO, for my uses I mix a bit of this in the palm of my hand to make a paste, spread it on my face, then leave it for 10-15 minutes to dry. Wow does my face ever feel clean after using this! It sucks out the impurities and leaves super soft skin. I really got it for around the time of the month when I have breakouts (thanks Marie Callender - haaaaaa) and my skin feels miserable in general. While it doesn't cure my skin problems, it definitely helped the breakout be not as bad. I'm interested to see how well it works after I have been using it regularly. It is really lovely to use at any time.Just know this is a fairly versatile cleanser/mask since it is usable as either. Also, there are no fillers or chemical ingredients. Another delightful and rare find.

Smells so good you can smell the oatmeal. I love scents like that even in creams. Has a soft gritty feel because of the pieces of oatmeal. I add water little by little to the powder that's in my hand to get a nice creamy consistency to then apply to my face. I rub it around gently and leave it on for about a minute or two. Then rinse it off and my face is left feeling oh so clean and soft. I really enjoy using this powder cleanser to wash my face. Packaging is great too (no plastic). If you are worried about making a mess with the powder in your hands then one thing I would suggest is to mix the powder with water in a bowl then apply paste to skin.

First off I really like that this is a powder you just mix with a little water so its very easy to take some with you if you're traveling. The container is biodegradable and the ingredients are all clean and natural. It really leaves your face feeling clean and soft. Also because you mix the paste yourself the 3.5oz in the jar will last a while.
