Mutti Classic Tomato Ketchup 300g

Mutti Tomato Ketchup Classico is by far one of the best ketchups I’ve ever tried! The flavour is rich, perfectly balanced between sweet and tangy, with a natural tomato taste that doesn’t feel overly processed. The consistency is just right—not too thick, not too runny—making it perfect for burgers, fries, and even dipping. Plus, I love that it's made with high-quality ingredients and no artificial flavours. Definitely my go-to ketchup from now on. Highly recommend for anyone who values authentic, delicious flavour!

This ketchup is delicious - definitely a ketchup but very subtly flavoured compared with the other more well- known makes. The tomato flavour is excellent and the spices added make a perfect foil for whatever food one eats it with. A real ketchup, with a difference.

Nice I love glass bottle no plastic taint more expensive but I’m not wasting product by binning it half way down like the plastic bottles as it has the taint of plastic

Well worth the price

So fed up with trying various ketchups via the usual channels, i.e. supermarkets, from own brand to 'posh' brands. In these days of 'downsizing' in quantity and quality ingredients, most products are now like water, being watered down with water or vinegar and 'enhanced' with even cornflour, having tried Mutti canned tomatoes and their pasta sauce I just bought a couple of bottles of these Mutti Classic to check whether I would like the taste. (Sorry for long sentence). The ingredients appear wholesome/natural. Although sweet, as with most ketchups (it helps to preserve I understand) it is a winner because it is not just vinegar, has a reasonable consistency and to my palate has the teeniest hint of heat from a spice, possibly chilli or cayenne pepper, which I like. You get what you pay for. Although the bottle is not that large, arrived undamaged, I will continue to buy this until it changes for the worse. I love the slightly wider neck of the bottle. Why? Because apart from keeping to a low sugar diet I also believe in quality over quantity and at todays prices one cannot afford to waste a drop of anything. If you are in the same boat, use my tip as follows:- Get yourselves some long handled teaspoons (latte spoons I think they are called). I used one to take out 2 teasps. of this ketchup instead of pouring/shaking it out willy nilly, eating more than necessary or worse leaving it on the plate. PS. I guess if you are clever you could turn a tin of Polpa into a ketchup by using the same ingredients and guessing the spices used or else see what spices other recipes use.

Taste less sugary than Heinz and more tomato-y, for lack of a better word.

This tomato sauce is nice product. It’s not just a ketchup.

Definitely the rolls Royce of ketchup, packs an amazing rich tomato hit. Thick and flavoursome , without all the added sugar and preservatives,It’s not that cheap unfortunately, but definitely adds that extra toyour bacon rolls .

Da hilft nur selber probieren.Bei der Suche nach dem ultimativen Ketchup für uns, sind wir hier zwar nicht restlos glücklich geworden,aber schon ziemlich dicht dran. Der Mutti Classico ist zum Favoriten Nr. 1 geworden, daher gibts 5 Sterne.Tomatig fruchtig, nicht zu süß, stört nur ein leichter Essiggeschmack, der sich etwas nach vorne drängt, den positiven Gesamteindruck. Mit Mitteln aus der eigenen Küche lässt sich der Geschmack doch etwas runder machen.Jetzt, 2 Tage später als nachträgliche Info:der Essiggeschmack ist von selbst verschwunden, alles gut!
