Back in the day, I was a whiffle ball god, at least that's what I told my kids. Much to my delight they accepted the challenge and we set off to get the requisite bat and ball. I found SweetSpot and quickly told them to take my money.I was giddy when the package arrived, the bat was light but super sturdy and looked cool, like MLB met NASCAR. The ball felt like a real baseball, but much lighter.When I grabbed the bat I had visions of taking my son deep and let him know about it, only to be humbled as he threw the old speedball by me a few times. Finally I got ahold of one and sent it off towards South America - victory is mine!The SweetSpot bat and ball were everything I could have hoped for, I mean I'm used to a crappy old bat and tennis ball, but this stuff was above and beyond. Super comfortable grip on the bat, easy to swing and nice sized barrel to make contact. You can definitely throw some filthy stuff with the ball and get some swings and misses. All in all, great product and would definitely recommend.

Rhode Island suburbs, 1987. 12, 8 yr old kids with a whiffle bat wrapped in duct tape, hitting tennis balls and using baseball caps as bases.We wrapped duct tape around the sweet spot of the bat to give us extra weight - a more realistic feel and balance. We are always at the baseball fields! This was perfect for the rare days we are at home and our boys can still have a fun game of baseball with friends in our yard.

Just received this bat yesterday, my kids used it for one night and the stickers peeled off. Do not buy from this seller, poor quality!
