Easy and simple.
I purchased this to cycle through water stored in plastic containers. The filters remove any plastic altered taste in the water. This is designed for water that's already clean. The view window is a nice feature. Assembly was easy, but requires a little attention to detail for the silicone washers as the instructions are vague. It's a slow process as expected. I'd definitely recommend.

Love it! Crisp clear affordable water!
Owned it for about 2 weeks now. I figured that I could take advantage of the price and always use different filters in the future if I didn't like these. SPEED For me, this filters quickly enough. I am a single person and I wait until it gets to the bottom to refill so it doesn't overflow. I fill it to above the black filters, about an inch below the top. I can hear the water trickling. I think it takes about an 1.5 hours for 2 gallons. It got faster after several fills. Flow from tap is wonderful so I can fill my mug or coffee pot quickly. SIZE - 2.25 GAL For a single person, this is the amount I use per day. I fill a 14 cup coffee maker and drink 64-72 oz water per day. If someone else lived with me, would likely fill this twice. FILTERING Previously I used a Brita sink filter. I liked the water taste and it lasted long enough. I tested tap water and Brita water. Honestly not much difference in testing but tap tastes awful to me. This filter seems to taste slightly more flat than Brita. Our city doesn't add fluoride so I am only using the black filters it came with. The main difference is the clarity of the water. This filter gives me really crisp, clear looking water. I'm really loving it! PRICE Got this on sale for around $120 which is a steal. My Brita filters were good for 100 gal at $10-15 each. This is $50 for a 2pk that says it will filter 6k gallons. If I change it at 3k gallons (to be safe), it's so much cheaper!!! That's less than $1.75 per 100 gallons!! I will update as time goes by to comment on filtering abilities over time and maintenance. UPDATE 8/11/25 still loving the filter. I think my cats prefer it over my old Brita because I have been refilling their water fountain more. No leaks. Still great taste and crisp look. Still 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

Wonderful Water Filter for Families on a Budget!
I moved into a new rental in October, 2023. Within the first month, I realized my skin and hair felt gross. I was getting breakouts on my face, my hair was getting super oily, even after washing it, and my skin felt really dry and itchy. I have a tabletop ice maker, which I've always filled with tap water. After moving here, I noticed a weird slimy film in the water reservoir. I decided the water here is filled with something that's not good. I immediately bought a filter for my shower and within two showers, the difference was absolutely astonishing. Then I started buying and drinking only bottled water. I even gave my cats and dogs purified water that I bought, ten gallons at a time. In short, I've spent a LOT of money on water. Last summer, I joined a preping group on Facebook and I noticed a lot of people were talking about water filtration systems. Curious, I went on a hunt for information. I compared quality, price, convenience, aesthetic, etc. I finally landed on this Purewell water filtration system. The system arrived quickly and in good shape. It was super easy to put it together. Basically, all I had to do was choose a spigot (it comes with a metal one and a plastic one) and attach it, then install the filter. Within ten minutes of the system arriving, I was filtering water. My system holds a little over two gallons at a time. Between the amount I drink and use to cook with, refilling my water bottles (pictured here), and the amount I use to fill my pet fountains every day, I fill my system about three times a day. At this point, I've had the filter set up for almost four weeks. Since then, I have noticed my coffee and teas taste better, and the water tastes so good, I've been drinking about a gallon a day! Even better: I have spent zero money on bottled or gallons of water since I got my Purewell! It's quickly paying for itself. I highly recommend this water filtration system for you and your family!

Charging the filters took awhile. I have low water pressure.
Filter is excellent quality, easy to put together. The 1.5 gallon size is perfect for 1 person. I use water for coffee, drinking, in protein shakes. I really noticed the difference in taste of water immediately.

Generous introduction to gravity water purification system
Considering all of the parts included in this package, it is a very good value compared to some of the other counter top gravity water purification systems on the market. However, for us, it has some positive and negative values. The fact that it comes with a stand and two different styled spigots and tools to put the whole thing together is great! The stainless steel body is lovely looking and even comes with a rubber like ring to attach to the bottom to reduce any sliding. All of the items included are of good quality and well thought out for convenience and usability. It is our first time using a gravity water purifier and my husband and I had it put together fairly quickly with the exception of priming the two water filters under the sink faucet. We’re still not sure if we got it right. After set up, our impression of the filtered water is as follows: 1. I have been drinking bottled spring water for years so the taste of this filtered water is a little disappointing. It tastes better than our tap water but tends to taste very flat. If you have experienced drinking hard water, it is that kind of taste we are getting. Ours is city water so who knows what is in it. 2. We installed the included metal spigot that came with the whole set up rather than the plastic one. The metal one does not leak but after you use it a small drop of water eventually drops out. I have taken to leaving a small cup underneath to catch that little drop(s). This is not a big deal for us but worth mentioning. I had high hopes this system would help to replace our bottled water usage and will keep using it in order to see if we can adjust to the taste of the water or if maybe trying different filters make a difference in the taste. For cooking or tea making it is fine but I drink a lot of plain water and after so many years of drinking bottled spring water have gotten kind of picky about how water tastes!

This system does not leak!
I've read too many reviews complaining that this water filtering system leaks. It does not leak! You are simply overfilling it. I learned this lesson in the first 24 hours I owned it after waking to a large puddle of water on my countertop. The bottom of the water viewing window is 2 inches above the bottom of the base of the tank. You have more water in the tank than you think. Now that I understand this concept, it has not 'leaked' again. I simply replace the water I have used. I don't overfill. Using this system has saved me over $110 a month, paying for itself in the first month, since I no longer purchase water. Considering it's a water filtering system, it's quite attractive and takes very little space. There's no need to plug it in so it can be placed on any surface that's level, indoors or out. The water comes out full force and it does not drip once the lever is shut. It also filters rather quickly. I highly recommend giving it a try. I love it! It may sound like an over exaggeration but it's a life changer in that it's extremely convenient to have and to use and I've already felt the savings.

Clean water but holds less than rated for due to filter displacement.
Easily cleaned and primed for use. Filtration works well and is noticeably better tasting than the tap water it filters. We even use this water for our plants and they respond really well to it. Just be aware that the filters in the lower section take up a lot of displacement, so it will actually hold less than it’s rated for. Other than that, it’s easy to setup and it’s already saving us a lot of money over buying bottled water every week.

Low price and good quality
Six months of use, so far so good. No leaks or corrosion and aftermarket fluoride filters fit well. Silicone base is essential for staying put on the edge of my sink. PPM is lower coming out than going in, and the taste is good after filter break-in period. Filter break-in can take a week, so prepare to have an alternate source of drinking water during that time, unless you want to drink chemically tainted water.

Happy with purchase
I spent time comparing the different companies before buying this one. I'm very happy with it. Took me a bit of time to understand how and manage to prepare the cartridges (the tap I have in kitchen is not optimum for it so had to use a different one). The water tastes better than the filtering jug I had. I fill it once a day. The stand makes a huge difference as well.

Highly recommend.
This unit is great, I had the Harley system prior but needed to replace it. I do wish this system came with an option for an even bigger tank but it works really well and the Window on the front has been more useful than I would have figured prior. Although the filters specifically don’t rank as high as the Berkey, they are close upon deep review. You can swap to whatever filters you want when it’s time to replace them after the first year ish.

Merci
