Just what I needed…
This bag has definitely made my life easier. i use to carry everything, and that was a pain if a lot of walking to the location or between locations was involved. I mainly carry two AD 200s, an AD 400, 2 light stands inside, a larger stand in the side pocket, a JBL 4, a large reflector, a small strip box, and a number of small accessories like cleaning kits, tape, etc with a lot of space to spare.I haven’t flown with it yet, but I’ve had it on outside shoots where I’ve rolled it through grass and over gravel with no problems. I have a friend who had to carry his case in similar situations because the wheels weren’t as good. It is also juuuuust small enough to easily fit in most trunks; the size being another reason I chose this case vs larger/longer options.

I Think I Like It
Okay, it's absolutely Amazing. It really exceeds 5 stars, even though I'm giving it 4. It's the most durable, most well-thought-out case I've ever seen.LOVE that it's 1680 Ballistic Nylon (I use a lot of stuff that's 1050 Ballistic, so I know this thing is a tank.Has the most robust YKK zippers I've ever seen, and they are lockable.Love the grab handles.Super durable wheels, metal guards on the sides.Completely loaded with organization options, plus pockets. And I love how the whole interior frame is removable.Love the straps that hold the lid open for easy loading/unloading your gear.Love that it has a metal identification tag that you can register, for loss or theft.Love the steel cable for securing it.Love that all the parts are user replaceable. If you ever manage to break something, or mayne it just gets a lot of wear and tear, and you want it looking new again, you can replace everything. There is not one thing to complain about on this case. Everything is top-notch, and up to my expectations. BUT...I have another equipment trolley case. It's a little bigger, holds a little more, and/or longer gear. It's not built quite as well, and doesn't have as many features. But... It's just over a third of the price. So, in comparison, I have to wrestle with the question of whether this case is three times better. It's a toss-up. It really is. A tough one to decide. In light of that, I'm deducting a star. I think it could be called TWICE as good as my other case, for sure. But it's a stretch to conclude that it's 3X better. So, in a competition between the two, I had to go back and add a star to the 4 star rating I gave the other case for price (I thought 250 was a little much at the time, and it is now selling for 230, as a reference), and I'm awarding 4 to this one. Solely based on the price comparison, though. This is truly a 5 star product, if I've ever seen one, and it pains me to give it less. Hope that helps. 👍

Expensive, But Worth the Cost
I'm a professional wedding photographer who carries a lot of light stands on the job site. This bag helps prevent me from taking 7 trips back and forth from the car when I first arrive. It's large enough to carry all my flashes, strobes, light stands, and accessories, but not so large that it won't fit in my car or make it difficult to manage with just me lifting it. It is very expensive, no doubt about it, but it's extremely high quality. Cheaper bags the stitching will rip out of the handles with heavier loads, but not this one.

Your whole shoot in one bag!
This review is for the Think Tank Production Manager 40 V2 Rolling Camera Case.I've had this bag for a few months now and every time I open it to consider what to pack in it, I have to make ZERO compromises. The bag itself is made of a high grade nylon material that inspires confidence. I think every single zipper is a heavy duty YKK lockable. The wheels are great performers on asphalt or through grass and dirt. The bag cleans up well if you spill something on it (don't ask.. ). And while I haven't had to test this, apparently all the hardware is replaceable if you break something or it wears out. This alone can extend the lifetime of the bag for years and might address the single issue that I MIGHT have with the bag.The most important thing is the flexibility of configuration and the sheer volume of the bag. I can put everything I need for a shoot in this single bag and roll it out the door ready to go. The interior is completely configurable for anything you want to bring along from lights to lens, bodies, cables, cords, whatever. So lets talk about the only hesitation I've had about the bag. Price. This bag carries a hefty price tag. You're putting out a premium price and getting a premium product. Other bags are half as much. The question is, do you need the best for moving your gear around? Do you want an uncompromising product that you can have confidence in when you travel and go to shoots? If that's the case, then the price really isn't all that big a deal for a long term investment like this. Also when you consider you can replace parts on a bag to extend the lifetime, that purchase starts to feel more like an investment in a system than a purchase of a throwaway bag. For me personally, I enjoy the Think Tank product line. Durable, smart, and professional grade. This bad fits right in. I'm pleased to own it and know my investment in the bag is protecting my investment in my gear.Easy 5 stars.
