I've been using the Calphalon Classic 3.5 Quart Saucepan for six months now, and it has quickly become an essential tool in our kitchen. Even my husband, who typically doesn't pay much attention to our kitchenware, has been singing its praises. Despite being used several times a week, it shows no sign of wear. The design is robust, and the handle remains cool even when the pan is in use, ensuring safe handling. But where this pan truly shines is in the convenience it offers. The straining lid and pour spout are game-changers, making it easy to drain liquids without needing a separate colander. The measuring marks on the inside of the pan simplify recipe follow-ups and the tempered glass lid is a great feature that allows you to see inside the pan without lifting the lid, making things even easier and more efficient. Another major advantage of this saucepan is its versatility. It's oven-safe up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, making it easy to transition from the stovetop to the oven. Plus, it's compatible with various stovetops, including induction, gas, electric, and glass. We were so impressed by this pan that I gifted it to my best friend as a housewarming present. She used it for the first time recently and was equally impressed by its performance. I have no doubt that this will be our go-to pan for years to come. I am happy with this pan. The pan size is ample enough to cook for a small family. The length and depth is normal, not too big not too small. Heavy and classic. Here is the downside- as it is not non-stick so it stick and difficult to clean. Still seeing some stain I don't know why.

Se ve de buen material, me gusta el detalle que tiene por ambos lados para escurrir líquidos. El detalle en mi caso es q desde la primera vez que la ocupé para hacer un consomé de pollo se peló un pedacito de la base de la olla a pesar de que no ocupé ningún utensilio con el cual se pudiera haber dañado, tengo la idea de que el pollo se pegó y eso arrancó un pedacito de una de las capas.

Burnt the past two models. third sauce pan is a little different, narrower and taller. it has subtle pour spouts on each side in true sauce pan style. well-fitting lid. try not to burn this one, as $90 is price to pay if rice is left cooking too long (twice)
