EasyFlex Decorative No-Dig Landscape Edging with Anchoring Spikes, 2.5 in. Tall Scalloped Top Garden Border, 40 Foot Kit, Black (3210-40C-4)

This is a review of the EasyFlex Simex Scallop Top Plastic No – Dig Edging Project Kit.Summary – This was perfect for what I wanted and needed. It is made of a nice solid material, is easy to install and best of all requires no digging. One thing to note. These do not come with enough spikes in my opinion. You tend to use more spikes for areas with curves to hold the shape you need. This comes with thirty of 8” spiral spikes. Had to order a box of 24 to complete what I needed to.ProsIt is well made and durable. It has enough flex to make it easy to work with and yet it is also strong and thick. Be prepared to use a good set of shears to cut. I was able to cut this using a Leatherman pocket knife which was very sharp. Took a good amount of effort to make the few cuts I needed.Includes 5 connectors to join two sections. These work well and the seam is not noticeable.ConsNot enough spikes. At 30 spikes per 100foot of edging, they expect you to use 1 every 3.33’ which is too far. Feel they need to double the spikes.

Well, that could not have been easier. I had an 18-foot stretch of really old edging that was settling upwards, i.e., was rising too far above ground (and was quite ugly). I thought I would have to pay a landscaper to replace it. When I got this edging, I assumed it would take a few hours of hard labor to install, but I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was. The only hard part was pulling the old edging up. This EasyFlex edging rolled right into place. I used a rubber mallet to hammer the spikes down (about every 3 feet) to secure the edging, and then I pushed some mulch on top for camouflage. I had 2 feet more than I needed, and I only had to use a regular pruner to cut off the end – just a couple of snips did the trick. The edging is relatively attractive – much more so than my previous edging – but it’s also pretty unobtrusive. The price is right, too. Recommended!

As others have said in their review this product is good but they do a bad job of supplying you with enough stakes. They literally need to double the amount that comes with each box if you get the 40 foot package. I found myself reaching into each consecutive box to rob from it just to make this work and then had to order more stakes after. and I was being very conservative and spaced them out but it's not realistic with what they provide. Also coming back I only needed 20 ft to finish the one bed I had been working on only to find out that 20 feet cost $10 more than 40 ft. So basically for $10 less I get double the amount. Which is unfortunate because it is just absolutely wasteful.

I would have given this product five stars, but as an other review I read indicated, they do not provide anywhere near enough of the 8 inch plastic nails. In fact, you would be well advised to purchase an additional package of 100 or 150 of those. It would be great that if in the description of this product they would recommend this. Other than that, I was hoping to purchase an additional 100 foot section of this edging but it is currently unavailable, so I am going to wait and hope it will become available again. Amazon has the straight edge option, but I very much like this scalloped option.

I have been using this edging all over outside. It is the easiest stuff to use! Just order extra stakes because they really dont give you enough. You dont have to put a stake in every hole, but you definitely need more than they supply. I love using this edging because of how fast and easy it is. I put a stake in the first hole to mark where i want it and then just unroll and pop one in wherever necessary. You can put them a few feet apart but may need to add an extra one here and there so that it keeps the shape you want. I used some last summer and bought more and then decided to do more areas this year and bought more again. It gets addicting since it is so easy... especially if you keep adding more garden areas to your property like i do.

Very eady to install looks great i did some straight line in the front yard and it was fine you just have to bend it out first cause it comes rolled. Overall looks good and easy! They need to send more stakes with this cause it is 40 feet only 12 stakes but other than that great!

I have a garden spot on a slope and couldn't keep the mulch from washing out. I didn't want to put a solid barrier that would visually clutter up the area so I gave this a try. While it is easier to install with four hands, the extra two could belong to anyone over the age of five since it involves just some holding in place. It has made it through a very hot summer with no problem so far, and served its purpose very well. Attractive but not intrusive; barely noticeable.

In order to make a flower bed around my mailbox, I had previously used edging that required between 2 and 3 separate pieces. The winter weather caused these individual connected pieces to heave and disconnect.The one-piece 20 foot Easy Flex enabled me to surround the mailbox with one continuous piece of edging, hopefully eliminating the freeze-thaw issue.I purchased a package of extra ground spikes, just to be certain the edging was securely anchored.

Good for what I need for

Good looking especially between soil and artificial grass.

Just what I was looking for. Super easy to install!!
