I live Puerh tea, but never had bad stomach aches before.

All Pu-erh teas are slightly different, I like this one.

I recently started drinking loose leaf tea after visiting a small Chinese tea shop on vacation and buying some pu-erh. The lady that owned the shop brought hers in from China. She explained there were many health benefits of drinking pu-erh. I thought the taste was good and greatly enjoyed drinking it. When I ran out I decided to try Davidson's as a replacement. I can definitely tell the difference. The taste is a little more bitter and not nearly as smooth. I was told that the fermenting process is best done over time and the older the tea was the better. This must not be very old.Still, it is pu-erh tea and wasn't too bad. The amount of tea in a 1lb bag could easily last a year.

This is not an expensive Pu Erh. You can get into serious money for some of the aged cakes.For the money, this has become my favorite tea. I have a 51 oz. teapot and drink about a pot a day.I just cleaned the pot and have re-steeped everyday since Monday. I just put the empty pot in the fridge until the next morning then add more 185 degree water.I got 6 good pots out of it and if I would be working tomorrow, would have saved it for another pot. It still have good life in it.Davidson's Teas are not pricy, but are very good quality for the $$. I am pleased with everything I have gotten from them.

I have been searching for a good organic Pu-Erh tea, and this one is truly a winner. So good I even subscribed for the automatic refill and delivery.

This tea is so good. I would have to say this is my favourite tea. It is smooth and rich and it gets you going. This might be blasphemous to some but I prefer this tea to a morning coffee. It is really that good (and I have been a daily coffee drinker since my late teens; of course until I bought this tea). The amount you get when buying this tea is exceptional. The bag is nearly 10 inches tall and packed with tea. For a strong cup of tea, you only need 1 teaspoon. I have found you can even reuse the leaves for at least 3 more cups of tea and it is still delicious. I am very pleased with the purchase of this tea. It was a great deal and it tastes great. I do have to admit one aspect that may turn off some drinkers but this is not my opinion: my wife said the tea can smell like feet... I personally do not notice this smell nor would say the tea smells like feet whatsoever.

I put in my occasional order for Davidson's bulk Pu'Erh tea, but because of the lockdown decided to hoard by ordering 2 packages. That proved to be a mistake, because only one of the packages sent was Pu'Erh, the other was Rosehip. You will notice that even though amazon.com makes it quite easy to return and refund an item, the automated assistant hasn't figured out how to deal with exchanging just one out of two (or several) items. Nor could I. Nor is there an easy (or any?) way to talk to the store or to some human at amazon. A big lack for a company that prides itself on customer service. I'm keeping the Rosehip but I'm disappointed in amazon, which also sent me the wrong mouthwash the same week. Those bottles I sent back and will not be ordering from amazon again.

Nice flavor, it is possible to add more water on the same tea. Searched on google : apparently this is a sign of a good pu erh.I was worried about the caffeine but it seems that pu erh contains less than other black teas.This is an organic tea so it means no pesticides used (must keep in mind there are several dozens tones of pu erh produced in China every year). Maybe it is not old but it blends well with spices and it’s easy to drink.As most buyers I think this is a very good price for the quantity (it should last 6-7 months for us as we use it every day) and I recommend this product to anyone looking for a pu erh at a decent price.

I know it is a great price for the volume. However, there is 0 value in this tea as it is completely flavorless and aroma-less despite the dark colour you see from the brewed tea. It made me think that the tea leaves could be recycled and redyed for sale. It's absolutely amazing how flat the tea could be. Never ever tasted any tea like this.

I like this tea, I drink it first thing in the morning since I stopped coffee. It taste really good, not too strong like most black tea.I recommend.
