It doesn’t take much space in the kitchen. I think minor add-on can bring even more satisfaction to users - it would be nice to see fitted plastic/poly/rubber draining mat to keep buttom wood dry and clean. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice press but terrible gauge *by on Reviewed in the United States January 27, 2026* I love it when people write a review and haven’t even used a product yet!! Please save your typing until you do that because helps no one to write a review on what came in the box.The press is very well-made and comes with pretty much everything you need and I’ve got my first block of Colby pressing out now. You do need to have a good amount of strength or use vice grips to tighten down the butterfly nuts. My only gripe is that the pound gauge makes zero sense and isn’t applicable to any recipes you’ll find here in the US. So zero help which is a little bit frustrating being a newbie and not knowing what 10 pounds of pressure feels like. All in all a good buy, but I probably won’t keep it long before moving up to a better press where the poundage is easier to ascertain. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wife loves it. *by on Reviewed in the United States June 7, 2025* Wife loves it. One of the best Mother's Day gifts I've ever gotten her. ## Frequently Bought Together - Wooden Cheese Press For Cheese Making Supplies 16 In Plywood 1/2 in Thick - Cheese Making Kit With Wooden Cheese Press and 2 Cheese Molds 1/2 Gal, Cheesecloth, Springs and Measuring Scale Included - Liquid Rennet - Animal Rennet for Cheese Making (2 oz.) - Mesophilic Direct Set Cheese Culture, 5-Pack --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sk/products/552053463-cheese-press-16-in-plywood-1-2-in-thick](https://www.desertcart.sk/products/552053463-cheese-press-16-in-plywood-1-2-in-thick) --- *Product available on Desertcart Slovakia* *Store origin: SK* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
