Great movie, wrong format
I love thé movie. I bought a copy for my sister. When she received it, it a European format version which is unviewable on her System. What a pain and a waste!

As beautiful as it is brilliant!
I'd give this 5 stars, even if it were shot as an ordinary film, but the incredible method of animating each frame makes it a one-of-a-kind adventure of watching a story told by moving, evolving oil paintings. Absolutely recommended!

Unique way of filming
This style this film is portrayed is unique. I have never seen this before. All I can say is if you have even the slightest knowledge of Van Gogh's style of painting you will enjoy 'Loving Vincent". Highly recommended.
