Reusable Wheat Straw bowls
These are unbreakable cereal bowls. 24 oz. They are microwave and dishwasher safe. Plastic is toxic to your body so I decided that since I like eating out of a bowl because I wont spill or drop my food on the floor I bought these bowls. They come in different colors and are made of wheat straw. I make oatmeal, heat up rice, leftover meats, and soups. So far they are great for anything you want to warm in the microwave. I am showing three on the picture but they come in four. They are microwave safe and dishwasher safe and made of non toxic wheat straw. I love them!

Not Really Better than Plastic
These plates DO take the place of paper plates which does eliminate paper waste. However, the downside is that they do stain like most plastic when soiled with some sort of red sauce. That means...these are really no better than using plastic.....! My mother (90) with Dementia, does not like to use any thing too heavy or cold to touch. I guess it's back to paper for me.
