Great microscope
Given the price this microscope works extremely well. I haven't used the x100 lens (combined with x2.5 eyepiece) = 2500 times magnification yet as the specimens need to be specially treated to view, but I'm learning.This microscope opens up a completely new world.Arrived well packed and comes with pre-prepared slides, blank slides and some slide preparation equipment. Great fun, love it.

S eye don’t work an the software doesn’t work either

Sparks, kids, imagination and curiosity
got this for my niece who homeschooled her children. They have had a lot of fun learning science with this microscope. They’ve looked at pieces of hair, skin scales off of fish you name it. They put it under the microscope and looked at it.

Wanted this to be just what i needed
But the dual eye pieces won't adjust narrow enough, so they aren't functional for me.Also, there was no software CD in the package. The website provided didn't work, probably because it's likely a website using a China-based server and the US is virtually blocked from Chinese Internet and vice versa. And simply plugging the device into my computer did absolutely nothing. Nothing ever showed up from the USB port to where it was connected. The 3 way adapter included for the phone/computer direct connect wouldn't go into the USB port because the camera eye piece was bigger than the adapter.Some of the paperwork is in English, but it's broken due to the challenges of translating Chinese(Mandarin) into English.The eye pieces have a somewhat loose fit in their sockets and there is some debris within the eye pieces.Otherwise it's a good solid apparatus built with qualityI really hoped I could make this work, but all the features i paid a higher price for aren't functional in my case.
