The Vintage shop
I loved this very warm story about friendships family and fashion. It made me think also of "Long lost families " . It saddened me too about the lost chances through time as the characters were so vivid that one felt the pain. Ive always loved colour in clothes and as Im i my 70 s now believe in wearing lots of colour . Im also not that good at parting with old favourite clothes that I loved and Id love to have had a shop like Lou s near by to browse through. Its a lovely story and so true to mention how much grandmothers I have done and are still doing to be there for their kid s needs sith childcare ,a reminder to younger readers to appreciate their parents more.

A nice story from Libbt Page
I have read Libby Page books before. I really enjoyed The Lido, and The 24 Hour Cafe, and this book is certainly very similar, but it was a good read and a pleasant journey through the lives of the main charactersThe story is set between Somerset and New York and the characters are very likable. However, I pretty much knew always what was wrong to happen next so for me, this bovel never conjured up any surprises. But in saying that I did enjoy it and is for you if you want to spend time with a heartwarming tale.I rate this book a four star Read.

A feast for your mind and your senses
What an absolutely delightful book this was to read - full of love, colour, sorrows, life and friendship. In fact, the whole book was a testament to finding and keeping friendships alive and the support that they can provide. I loved every single bit of this book.

Pleasant feel-good read
A feel-good story of friends and family. If anything, the characters were too βniceβ and therefore a bit boring. The story ambled along with no real surprises so was possibly too long for the plot. A pleasant enough read although it did fizzle out by the end.
