I purchased this top to wear while traveling in the heat of the summer, with the intention of washing it up by hand regularly. It worked so well. I did wash it in cold water in the washing machine a few times, but I've never put it in the dryer. I've all ways let it air dry, so I don't know how it would hold up to the heat of a dryer, but typically silk doesn't like the dryer! Silk definitely helps with heat regulation, and the drape is lovely. It is a bit more refined and elevated than a cotton tank, which is what I wanted.I like that it has a high neck on it to save my decollete from too much sun. I ordered a large based on my measurements, and the length hits right at the top of my hip bone (I am 5'6" with a long torso) with an overall slim fit through the bust on me (I am a 34DD). It's not skin tight through the bust (it doesn't pull), but it's not particularly roomy -- so if you want more ease, then you might want to size up.

I'm 5'5," 34C with a long torso. I bought a medium, but it was too tight in the chest, so I returned it and purchased a large. I started with black and later purchased another size large in white. They're both the same size. Other reviewers have said they didn't receive genuine silk, but I definitely did. This silk jersey looks a bit like polyester, but it wears so much better than polyester and is much more breathable. The neckline is interesting but conservative enough for client meetings.At one point, I accidentally dried the white top in the dryer, and now it's about a half size smaller than the black one. Even so, I usually wear both tops every week, wash them in the washer, and hang them to dry. It's been about 6 months, and they still look new.

This arrived quickly. All info on the blouse and on the packaging says it is mulberry silk. Not see through. Drapes nicely and the cowl is not too deep. A size large, the recommended size for me, fits fine and looks good. I have worn it but I have not washed it yet. I am happy with it and would buy it again.

This isn't silk, it's synthetic. Nevertheless, it's a cute blouse and it fits me well. Inexpensive for such a nice looking blouse. I didn't actually expect it to be silk for the price, but it annoys me that the manufacturer gets away with falsely advertising "pure silk". I washed it on gentle, dried it on low for 15 minutes and hung it to finish drying - only had to touch up a couple of wrinkles.

One of the most fitting and comfortable blouses I’ve had. Wish it came in more colors, I would definitely buy more.

Cheaply made..but shouldn’t have high hopes given price

These are light and airy. Has a nice drape at the neck. Now, the neck is finished, but it isn’t tacked in or it would ruin the whole effect of the shirt. So, after laundering, I lay mine out to fix the collar so it lays correctly and then hang it to dry. I like silk and this is nicely priced. Armholes are not too big (I hate that) or too small (never had that problem). Wish they had other colors, but what they do have is classic so it’s not really a complaint.

Pretty soft beige color and drapey neckline are perfect under a blazer. That it has stretch and a slim fit makes it easy to layer, too. Fits closest over the bust but doesn't cling in the middle if you order the correct size. I'm a 14/16 and the xl fits just right for layering; I don't wear slim fit blouses on their own at my age, but you could. Also comes with a tiny fabric sample to burn test to verify that it's silk, which is nice. Definitely a winner.
