This was my first go at hardware cloth and there are a lot of different options based on your needs (mesh size, gauge, coated, etc). I am using mine primarily for tree guards and for protecting some small plants from rabbits (I don't mind sharing once they are established but I have to give them a chance). I had intended to use this in the fall when I chose it but an ill-timed shoulder injury delayed my using it until the spring. It sat on my back porch which is covered but still pretty exposed with no issues and when I went to use it in the spring it looked like it had been shipped yesterday which I am hoping means it will last. As with any material, it takes getting used to but once you get a feel for it, I found it worked well for my needs. (I am using it with metal stakes.) The gloves that were included are better than nothing but they snag and I preferred to use my own heavier-duty gloves. All and all I am quite pleased with this hardware cloth and as long as it continues to perform as it has been, I will be happy. If I have any unexpected issues in the future, I will update my review!

I used this as fencing around my garden and it works perfect. I did spray paint it black to hide it visually a bit (total preference thing and not needed).

Picked this up to use on our chicken coop. It's nice and heavy duty, with a smooth galvanized coating that will help protect the chickens from predators and their own stupid feathered butts. Hopefully the galvanization is reasonable thick, if so it should last a good while before needing to be replaced again.

Really nice quality and weight. Super easy to use. Love how well it was rolled which makes it easy to store.

I had a fence installed last summer and there are some sandy patches that I really want to grow grass in because my dogs go tearing up to the fence chasing squirrels. I got this fencing to block them after I planted the grass seed. This is a very small piece of fencing. The fence itself is nice, it's durable and well constructed but it's really pricy for this small piece so I knocked it down a star for the price

I could not be more pleased with this chicken wire! The quality is absolutely phenomenal. It’s super durable and strong. The quality is definitely above average especially compared to other chicken wire that I’ve used in the past. The affordable price tag is a nice bonus. I love how effective this chicken wire has been at keeping animals and snakes out of my garden. It’s very effective! Highly recommend!
