Sharp Humidification Replacement Filter for KC-850U Or KC-860U

The filter is original and looks exactly the same as the one that came with the Sharp humidifier and air purifier. The size and shape match perfectly and it fits without any issues. During the first week of use, the water was oddly turning a green color, but that no longer happens and everything is working fine now. Overall, I’m satisfied with the purchase and the filter does its job well.

The sharp humidifier we own says it needs to be replaced every 5 years but we run ours 24/7 that we needed to replace them in 18 months. And altho it says you can wash them it certainly did not look like a simple rinse would have done the trick. I am glad we were able to purchase these and replace the older ones with the original brand. Fits perfect, easy to install

OWM part. Fits perfectly. Works well. Can be cleaned a number of times before replacement is necessary.

Very pricey product. Just no way this thing lasts 5 years. I have replaced these things almost annually. They tend to shrink and get nasty around the 6 month mark even with regular maintanence (emptying out standing water every morning and routine cleaning per instructions). The only thing I haven’t done is buy distilled water for every day use. I don’t know if that would prevent the eventual nastiness and shrinkage.

I've been using it for many years, cleaning the filter while maintaining it, but it's starting to get worn out, so I bought a new filter. It seems like the tank is cleaner and less likely to get dirty. Cleaning it is quite a hassle, so I think it's better to replace it with a new one regularly.

Installed quick and easy

I have tried some off brand replacement for this Sharp humidifier and found they only lasted 3-4 months even with proper cleaning before getting super slimy and smelly so I decided to dive in and get this on brand replacement and couldn't be more pleased. I've used the proper cleaning care as recommended by the humidifier itself and had no issues with slime or smells. It seems to be working well!

Sin problema buena calidad

This humidifier/air cleaner does the best job of humidifying and cleaning than any other in the house. Using the correct filter is important. I would not want to give up this machine.
