Using this instead of the cheaper version that pierces the water line, delivers higher water pressure to the refrigerator. It is easier to install. The built-in valve is much easer than the valve on the cheaper version. GREAT product.

Seems to be good quality material, easy to install, and works well to feed a water line to an undersink filter or refrigerator. This size of 3/8 - 3/8 - 1/4 is not easy to find. I installed a vinyl tube with a vinyl compression ring/sleeve and brass nut. Hopefully it will be reliable for the long term.

after spending an hour searching high and low at H/D i came to amazon and found this gem in minutes... super easy to install. I used it under my sink to route a 2nd water line to my counter top dishwasher. Make sure you use some plumbers tape on the threads just to ensure there's no leaks (I used the tape... so there was no leaks)

Simple install, comes with a handful of extra goodies(connectors, etc), attractive appearance, solid quality material.What's more to say? While I haven't opened and closed the valve 100 times, the few times I have, I've experienced no resistance, no leaks, no problems. It's definitely a quality piece of hardware.

I can't speak on the longevity of this, but it seems to be built fairly well. I'm using this valve to plumb my fridge's ice maker inline with my under the sink water filter. Having calcium and magnesium in your water will speed up the 1/4 turn valve getting plugged up. I can't say if the included compression fittings are any good, as I didn't use them. I just used gasketed steel braided line. Overall, it's a good part and I trust it more than plastic quick-connects.

Just install this in place of a normal shut-off valve and you can easily add a water line output to a fridge water dispenser/icemaker.

Zero issues with the threads, zero leaks. Everything hooked up as it should without any fuss.Sturdy enough, but if I was going to install long-term (and anyone working under the sink probably wants a long-term connector - ain't no way to get under there comfortably!), I might like just a little more heft to the fitting. We have hard water here, so sometimes "long-term" isn't even an option - you'll get calcification that will make your installation a long-term endeavor.All that said, it worked 100% as expected for my quick tap into the line and I'll migrate it outside for the outdoor sink setup with the glass rinser once I get my new faucets installed in the kitchen.Good value, will do the job - very solidly four stars.

It came on time and installed a new line for our new fridge. Installation was a breeze and we have water & ice afterwards. It's been almost 2 weeks and it's been good so far! No water leaks.
