I'm very impressed with these cutters, they're not for heavy duty cutting. Suitable for most things that modelers need to cut, but not piano wire.... The handles are comfortable and the two blades come together completely so they will cut along the length of the blades. They are ground flat along the back of the blades so they will cut wire ties, wire etc right up to the tie end or connector without leaving stubs like other cutters sometimes do. I use them for all aspects of RC modelling as they are just the right size without being too flimsy. For the money they are excellent value at this price point well made and nicely machined.

Just what I needed a sharp pair of cutters after I destroyed my last ones. A useful addition to the tool box.

The only thing I don't like is you can't close them.so they are open whe you aren't using them which is a bit dodgy. Apart from that they cut well

At first I thought these were inefficient but when I realised that the wire needed to be under tension I got the hang of cutting. I bought these to cut wire washing line rope and they did the job nicely so for the price I cannot complain.

Very Sharp and cuts well, at rest these cutters are sprung open making them easy to use. I recommend this tool.

Ok quality but not great on steel items

Very sharp and does cut straight, shame it didn't come with a decent sleeve as its just a plastic wrap. If your going to cut metal wires or electrical wires i wouldn't expect these to last as long, but for plastic and other non metal cutting these will be just fine.

Veramente valido molto bello e taglia perfettamente

Sehr scharf und perfekt für starke Kabelbinder Ich habe den Seitenschneider direkt an besonders starken Kabelbindern ausprobiert und bin wirklich begeistert. Die Schneiden sind sehr scharf und gehen auch durch dickere Kabelbinder sauber und ohne großen Kraftaufwand durch. Gerade bei meinen kräftigen 400 x 8,8 mm Kabelbindern macht sich das deutlich bemerkbar. Der Schnitt ist sauber und kontrolliert, ohne dass man mehrfach ansetzen muss. Auch der Griff liegt angenehm in der Hand und vermittelt einen soliden Eindruck. Einen kleinen Kritikpunkt habe ich allerdings: Durch die Feder wird die Zange ständig auseinandergedrückt. Es gibt leider keinen Verschluss oder eine andere Möglichkeit, sie im geschlossenen Zustand zu fixieren. Wenn sie nicht benutzt wird, liegt sie also immer offen herum. Wir haben das ganz einfach mit einem Kabelbinder gelöst. Bei dem wirklich unschlagbaren Preis kann man aber auch nicht alles erwarten. Vielleicht gibt es ja irgendwann eine Revision II mit Verschluss, dann wäre sie für mich nahezu perfekt. 😉 Für Kabelbinder und ähnliche Arbeiten ist der Seitenschneider für mich absolut praktisch und bisher genau das, was ich gesucht habe. 👍
