I think it can complement different style rooms. However if you have dogs or cats that might climb ontop I wouldn't get this table. My mom's 15 lb dog has tried to walk on it and I don't know that it would hold her weight so I move it away from the couch when she's over. But nothing 2 coats of rustoleum paint can't fix to make it match your decor!
