It might help, as it is a way of sorting out small pieces, but than you can stack them on top of each other to keep things tidy and compact.

Plastic . cardboard wouldn’t last when u are handling a lot. I’ve used mine loads and they r as new still as I store in box when not in use . I’ve also bought several for presents and always been much appreciated & used lots .

Can the trays be stacked when they have puzzle pieces in. This would be helpful if ot completing the puzzle in one go.

Yes they can but obviously only a certain amount of pieces can go in each tray. My friend was so pleased with her present that she has bought 2 to give to friends.
