I have thick, curly hair and these worked perfectly on my hair. However the downfall is for some reason these clips do not completely shut all the way (was designed this way, i've also seen others designed this way too) so this will not work on anyone who that has thinner hair. Definitely a downfall for those who don't have thick hair. I have fine hair and they are too heavy to use by themselves. I have clipped them onto hair bands or on top of hairties. I even used them on clothes as decorations.
