Works great but a lot of money for what it is
There are a few reviews on here which say theirs stopped working after some time. I've been using mine for the last 6 months and it is fine, can't see any problem with it.I will note, that mine has been plugged into my PC and left plugged into my TV for the whole time, I have not been disconnecting and reconnecting the adapter repeatedly, which may have an affect on the lifespan.I have been using this for 6 months now and it does exactly what it says it should, takes a DisplayPort 1.4 signal and converts it to HDMI 2.0.I've been using a PC to display media on my Samsung 4k TV and this works perfectly. I cannot fault it at what it does and have had zero issues. My only gripe is the price. You can get a 4k USB-C to HDMI adapter for half the price which may be better if you have the USB port to do that.

Save up and get one for 3+ displays. Overall - AWESOME
This is a great bit of kit for 3 + monitor setup. It looks smaller on the pic, but the box is as big as a small hard drive. I needed it, because I have 3 x 27" monitors, all the same 3d ready, but I could have only used 2 on 144hz refresh rate needed for 3d, and the third I only had a a HDMI slot available which would down scale everything to 60hz. I tried running 3d with this setup and it looked awful. This will allow all 3 + monitors to run at 120Mhz + and allow for 3d applications, and on a 3d system, it does look amazing. It is pricey, £125 for the kit, but it is so worth it to get the max effect out of the monitors.I would most def recommend it. Just plug and play, and use the spanning config with Graphics Card to sync all displays and thats it.Really brought my PC to life.

Unreliable performance and slow delivery
Purchased as I bought a high end graphics card with no dual link dvi and I have a dell 1600p. I won't return the item as was waiting about 2 weeks for it to be delivered and cannot be without a monitor for that long waiting on a replacement. At least I can browse the internet. In summary it almost works. Whilst it does provide a signal to the monitor as advertised, at 1600p/60hz, intermittent black screens ruin it.Fine for browsing internet but gaming is a no no.Same issue on Windows 7 and Windows 10.Avoid this adapter and if your monitor doesn't support the right connection then buy a new monitor. Very disappointing.

Full UHD 4K @ 60hz + HDR Capable
If you are looking for a DP to HDMI adapter that can transmit Full UHD 4K @ 60Hz with HDR too this adapter can do it. Other adapter can only do UHD 4K @60Hz But cannot do HDR as well due to band with issues. This however can. I can reccomend this product, but it is a bit on the expensive side hence minus 1 star. I could not find a cheaper suitable alternative.

Also works for VR Headsets!
I upgraded my to a 4K screen and needed 2 HDMI outputs from a card with only one. Tried various DP to HDMI active adaptors and they worked but not properly. This one DOES work, I now have 4K HDR and VR from my nVidia card which only has one HDMI.Plugged my WMR VR headset into the adaptor and the adaptor in DP output and it just works, may even be a better picture than with the headset plugged into the card's HDMI output.....If you need to plug HDMI into DP get this adaptor, it's more expensive but it works!

A little expensive but does the trick, 4K HDR
Bought this so I could run 4K HDR & have only one HDMI port on my GPU. Connected via a HDMI 2.1 cable, could get it to run @ 60hz, pc kept reverting to 30hz. Took me ages to figure that my tv settings needed to be set to HDMI enhanced mode. Now all working at 60hz in Windows 10bit colour & gaming in 4K HDR.

Didn't work with my setup
Unfortunately I couldn't get this to work with any DP out from me GeForce 1080 to either an LG 4k TV or a separate HD TV (1080p). Sent back for refund.

Faulty product?
Plugged this in to my PC, connected my HDMI 2.0b cable (I know the adaptor is 2.0a but that shouldn't make a difference) then plugged into my Samsung Q6 QLED TV.EDIT - Ok so after a little testing I had to switch refresh rate from 60hz to 30hz with HDMI cable plugged directly into the PC without the adaptor, plug it into the adaptor then switch the refresh rate back which was clearly still only at 30Hz.I believe this product is falsely advertising what it can do or the one I received is defective. Will be returning
