Description

7 Romance Short Stories for Italian Learners A Collection of Italian Graded Stories ( B1–B2 CEFR ) This collection has seven romance stories set in Italy and beyond, written in Italian adapted for B1–B2 learners. I wrote them for people who want to read a complete story even when they have only a little time. What's inside: Seven short love stories set in Italy and beyond Italian–English vocabulary lists and useful expressions Audio for each story, so you can listen while you read Translation and preposition exercises after the stories Speaking prompts for your next Italian lesson The idea came to me in a café in Rome. I was listening to the couple at the next table talk over their morning coffee, and I wanted to write stories with that kind of everyday Italian. After more than ten years of teaching adults, I know how much a conversation can teach you when you can follow it. A good way to use this book is to read and listen to a story, then talk about it with your Italian teacher or conversation group. It’s when you talk about what you’ve read, listened to and studied that your Italian fluency grows!
