New garage build
I though I would give this system a try, I have a new RV garage being built, I am aware of cost as this is a large garage over 35 feet deep 21 feat wide and the walls are 16Ft. tall and a loft in the back of the garage at 12ft. height. I needed to seal up around the windows the multiple exterior doors, wall penetrations for the electrical and water lines. I bought some of the low expansion to use around the doors and windows as to not distort the installation on the doors jams. That worked very well, i used the high expansion on areas I needed to fill and seal. in corners of the framing, penetrations around the A/C system in some of the areas. This is an awesome system, I think you get about 3 times the amount of chemical in the cans as you would get at the big box store for the of he shelf diy can. The best parts of this system is the ability to close the system and not waste the can, you can lock in shut or you can remove the can and reuse at a later date. Now with that said you need to buy a can of the cleaner, this stuff is great, you remove your can install this on the applicator run some chemical thru and it dissolves the foam chemical on contact, You can remove it when done and they also supply a normal spray head to put on the same can so you can spray on the outside of applicator and clean, also take this stuff off of your hands very quickly, spray in a towel clean the applicator gun and wipe down your hands, this cleaner is very effective, I did not know they had a cleaner that worked this fast and effective. I do love this system, it is easy, reusable, easy to clean and very cost effective, great value. I highly recommend this application system. Great Value!

great product to save on wastage and deliver just the right amount of foam
As a handyman I often have a need to use a small amount of expanding foam to seal around a pipe or hole or opening. In the past I would keep load of cans of foam in my truck because if I waited more than a few days to reuse a can the can would be virtually unusable due to a blockage somewhere no matter how much I tried to clean it after use. Of course I could not determine if or when I would need foam again so I ended up throwing out large numbers of cans due to blockages. With this system I can dispense the correct amount and then close up the gun for use the next time. Never had a problem with any blockages and love the fact that I can control how much foam and at what rate I want to dispense the foam. In fact, I have only used 2 cans of foam in the last 6 months which shows me how much wastage I had before. Now the cons, although they are no deal breakers. If you do happen to take a can off, and I did this twice, there is little you can do to stop the foam from just slowly, or fast depending on the can I guess, leaking out. From what I understand you are supposed to be able to take the can off and store it for use later but my limited experience with this system is that if you take the can off before it is empty it will just leak out foam and you will just have to throw that can away. In my case I put it back on the gun to stop it from leaking foam any further. Both times I did this the foam was already leaking out so created a mess around the attachment. While I did clean it up as best as I could, when it came time to actually remove the empty can from the gun it was virtually impossible due to foam that had dried in places effectively locking the can to the gun. My advice is if you have to take the can off and it starts leaking foam just throw than can away, don't try to put it back on otherwise you will have hours of frustration trying to change out that can down the line. Having said that, once a can is removed you can clean the gun with the cleaning fluid and put a new can on. Best system ever.

Great Stuff Cans, not Great Stuff gun.
Foam gun seems ok for now, can't rate it compared to the Great Stuff gun because it is NOT Great Stuff gun. It's a third party gun packaged with great stuff foam.***Update*** a few years later and I recommend the foam nozzle gun. This really does keep the foam preserved. Just clean of the tip a bit, open up and you've got working spray foam. At one point this sat for 1.5 years yeah I was expecting a clogged nozzle gun full of solid foam that I would have to throw out. Instead, I cleaned the tip a little bit, open it up, and had spray foam coming out. Highly recommend if you ever just want to have a can of spray foam on hand.

Good gun, but.....
Happy with gun. however, one of the two great stuff cans leaked so badly that it was 95% waste--thought it was a gun issue, but after trying second can, gun was fine. As this is a Great Stuff product, guess I cant fault AWF, but was disappointed

Just get it
If you've ever used the traditional spray foam cans you know they're hot garbage. This thing allows you to control the flow, and set such a small beard it's amazing.I went crazy spraying all the cracks in a treehouse I built and it was a breeze. Super fast, easy cleanup, and seems as if the product lasts longer.Definitely worth it.

Get ready, bacause this will leak!!
Bad product! Maybe they should remove this item from their shelves. It leaks!! I saw a few people had the same thing happen but I thought it was just a bad kit or two, NOPE, I had the same thing happen. When you screw on the can it slowly leaks out and creates a big mess. Look for another gun or can, thats what im going to do. Hopefully there is one out there.

Great tool.
Much easier to use than those cans you see at Home Depot. You can slow down the rate of application and be much more precise in placing the foam. I love it
