Great little Vise!
Love it! It’s a solid little vise. I was in a pinch and needed a cheap vise to get me by, this little thing did not disappoint. Good size, and it doesn’t let go. Prime hooked it up and I got it first thing the next day. Only gripe, is that the plastic scuff protector covers have really weak magnets and just about everything I’ve tried to tighten down on those covers makes them slip right off.

The right size for my needs
This darn vise seems to be the right size for most of my around the house projects. Certainly not a mechanics or work shop vise, but it is just the right size for the jobs I have. The clamp to remove it makes it extra handy. Move it, store it, but it's easy to put back in place when needed. This is actually the second one I have. The first was a gift. Liked it so much I bought the 2nd one for a different level of the house.

Heavy duty but not rust proof
I bought this for my work table in my air conditioned garage. It is very well made and works well for multiple items to grip but it is starting to lightly rust despite it’s primarily in a climate controlled dry environment.

Very heavy, and stout. Well made. Bigger than I thought it’d be for a small vise.
We got this for doing crafts. It is bigger than I had imagined, when compared to the small under clamp mounted vises. It is a heavy chunk of steal for sure. We are using the clamp mount and not permanently, mounting it to a bench or table, this means that we can use it temporarily or even intermittently when needed. The vise works and turns very easily. Seem very well made for most of our needs. Our main purpose is for making jewelry, having an extra hand to hold stuff. We use it as an anvil for hammering and shaping bits of wire and rings. Very pleased.

4 1/2" bench vise
Awesome vise, fits perfect on the new bench I just purchased. Very easy to mount and very easy to move to another position. very versatile. The magnetic rubber jaw attachment is a real bonus. This is a good buy.

Nice and solid. Works great!
I really like this vise. For the price, you get a nice heavy, well-built vise that has a really nice double-clamping base for a nice, sturdy attachment to your workbench without having to drill the wood. Comes with both sets of hardware and was very easy to assemble. It swivels around easily and comes with rubber/plastic jaw covers for clamping more delicate items. If you're looking for a big, solid vise without the heavy price tag, I definitely recommend this one.

Fantastic portable vice grip
So the major downside to removable/portable vice grips is the lack of stability/strength associated with these things when applying significant torque/force. The 6in version of this grip comes with 2 separate clamps to ensure a powerful grip and stability, and I have used it many times for gunsmithing (barrel swapping, muzzle device removal/addition, and other heavy duty tasks requiring greater than 80ft/lbs of energy). The grip has been a wonderful purchase (almost as good as high end permanent install grips) that I really enjoy using on a regular basis. Now for a few words of caution. The grip is heavy duty (weighs a lot), and the rotational lever to allow pivoting of the grip never quite fully locks in place. There’s a little wiggle within a very small range no matter what I do, but it’s not enough to cause instability of the grip and prevent me from getting jobs done. Just be aware of it. Aside from that, I highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to permanently install the grip or keep it mobile by using the bottom clamps.
