Very sharp
very well made knife, very sharp also, easy to cut with. The plastic sheath is ok. GREAT GREAT value for the money you cannot find better at this price!!!

Great knife
This knife is sturdy, the weight is really good, and it cuts really well. I've even cut myself a few times. But that's on me of course. What I don't like about this knife is that vegetables like zucchini, tomatoes, stick to the blade. Also, a very bad feature is the handle. Both times I have purchased the knives with the plastic handle and both times the handles arrived cracked. I'm still keeping them because they do the job well. I will have to seal the cracks with some sort of glue to prevent bacteria.

Great for the price
Good quality knife for the price point. Would definitely explore other products from this supplier.

Sheath doesn’t fit knife
The media could not be loaded. The knife is perfect for camping minus the fact that the sheath doesn’t stay on.

Does it's job, but sharp!
I only had a paring knife in my kitchen after moving, and it was less than ideal when trying to chop onions and garlic lolThis knife does its job. But be very careful of how sharp it is. I was swiping bits and pieces of garlic off the blade in one swoop and accidentally cut myself. Needless to say I'm pretty careful now whenever I'm swiping food off of it.I read the directions which said to wash and dry it immediately so it doesn't rust, and I've been following it so far. So far, no rusting. I usually just leave knives in the sink until it's ready to be washed.

**IMPORTANT** The sheath is absolute garbage and should be tossed into the recycling IMMEDIATELY
On amazon.com some reviewers compared this to their Wusthof Chef knife. That is insanity. Out of the box, it is not nearly as sharp and will have difficulty cutting through denser items. Other design factors will contribute to fatigue with extended use.The balance point is located exactly at the end of the black handle. It is actually lower than ideal for a pinch grip, but decent nonetheless. The radius on the end of the bolster is extremely aggressive and small, which makes using the pinch grip feeling sharp and uncomfortable. You can adjust you grip forward, but will sacrifice balance further.**IMPORTANT**The sheath is absolute garbage and should be tossed into the recycling IMMEDIATELY. It is made out of that cheap Chinese plastic which off gas that awful chemical/gun powder fumes for months maybe years. The knife itself will take on the smell so it should be separated with urgency and aired for a few days before use. Mine was slightly cracked on arrival, but it wouldn't fit properly even if it wasn't. Just based on the sheath, I would have second thoughts about a repeat purchase. It has been several months and the sheath still emits those noxious fumes. It has a full tang made from a cheaper steel alloy that doesn't hold its edge like its higher end counterparts. The instructions that came with the packaging warns that rust may develop despite being made from stainless alloy, but I haven't had any issues. It would be wise not to submerge it in water for long periods. It has a good weight, feel and after sharpening, it will have an excellent edge. Be sure to sharpen often. After saying all this, at 10 bucks hard to expect quality it has. Its great to have one of these around not having to necessarily baby it. The value definitely exceeds the price, but do not expect it to replace a Wusthof.

Great value for what I paid, but I want more
If you are looking for a cheap good quality knife this is it! I bought is under $10 and happy with it, for the price I paid. However, I am not totally happy with it's sharpness and the grip. I cook everyday and chop everyday, mainly veggies and fruits (no meat). I find this knife good weight, but I wish it was a bit more sharper. It cuts soft items well, but if I want to julienne carrots for example, It does not work too well. My hand gets tired and the grip on the handle and overall curve is asking for something more/better.I would agree with another reviewer, the cover is extremely loose, and made up of cheap plastic. I used a cardboard to make my own cover!I would not mind paying a little more if these things are resolved.

Amazingly Sharp and Good Quality
I bought this knife really long ago and leave it up-opened. After such a long while and then I needed a new knife these days, I unpacked and used it, still as sharp as brand new (but yes, it is surely brand new as I never use it), and sharp. It can easily cut my food and requires little force to handle. It performs better than some larger knifes I bought in the supermarket. That is pretty amazing! Highly recommended.

Great quality and build for the price.
Basic entry level beginners chef knife. I bought it for the cooks I work with, they love it compared to the Nella knives we have at our restaurant. It comes very sharp "out of the box" and they could not be happier. Sturdy and has a good quality heft feel to it. Not as light as I would it to be but for $10, I can't complain. As to the rust and tarnish people are experiencing, please read the manual that comes with it, you are expected to read and understand the product you are purchasing. In addition, don't expect this knife to hold its edge, buy a steel and hone it after several uses. It's only $10, if you're expecting higher quality cough up more than $100.

I like it, its not that sharp but if you're ...
I like it, its not that sharp but if you're used to dull knives like me then it's pretty good! I got it so I can learn to sharpen a knife with a whetstone, since it's not super strong metal it's great cause I sharpen regularly and see how I've improved :)Very good for its price would recommend for someone just starting to cook or sharpen so they can get used to doing their thing without fear of ruining a super expensive knife.
