I have a 7.5 HP 80 gallon ingersoll rand air compressor. The weight of the new switch is less than the original one, this could be due to the base metal being different. Outside of that, it seems to be decently built. After switching it with the original I figured out that the original unit had a reset built in that I couldn’t see. The entire top plastic where the electrical wires are, pushes down to reset it so it works properly again. I will keep it as a backup, lesson learned.
