These units work well. They engage very firmly and release easily with a push of the door. By the very nature of their operation the door isn't held completely closed against the jamb of the cupboard (there has to be some inward movement to unlock it) but in practice this isn't a problem.The instructions come with a detailed scaled drawing of the catch but a template to assist with the positioning of the lock in relation to the door-mounted catch itself would have been really useful. I used one of these to secure a drop-down roof hatch and managed to get the positioning right first time (more down to luck than my DIY skill).

I used this catch for my loft hatch good job there was a pair as one of them was to weak to hold up the hatch I tried the other one and it works perfect

bought these to hold up loft hatch that kept falling down not came down once ever since fitting latch

A magnet push to open lock wouldn’t hold my heavy oak door but this little beauty did the trick brilliantly

This is pretty feeble and wouldn't hold my door closed. It kept springing open so was very disappointing after went to the whole effort of fitting it etc.

Just what I needed.
