Great little knock box! Foam pad at the bottom washes well, provides a nice amount of anti-slip (not A LOT bout enough) and tempers the sound from the filter basket impact. Bar is detachable but is fixed with good solidity to the pin and hole. Even though it's white, it doesn't stain! The brush is a great little addition; perfect for cleaning up spills or brushing off extra grounds off the rim of the filter basket. It's a welcome addition for around the kitchen - sweeping up crumbs or other spills is easy!

The rubber part of this knock box fell apart a few months into the warranty period. But the seller said it was no long selling this variation of the product and thus no warranty claim would be honored. Dishonesty is never a good policy, especially when you make and sell a shoddy product that does not work as promised.

Before buying this espresso knock box, I was doing the worst workaround—using my hand to protect my portafilter while knocking the puck out against the trash can. It usually took multiple hits, I had to put a towel between my hand and the trash can, and more than once I pinched my fingers. It honestly drove me nuts and made cleanup way harder than it needed to be. This knock box completely solved that problem. The puck comes out cleanly and easily with one knock, no mess, no frustration, and no risk to my fingers or portafilter. The removable knock bar is sturdy, the anti-slip pads keep it in place, and the 1.2L size is perfect for multiple shots without constantly emptying it. It’s well-made, durable, and looks great on my coffee bar. If you’re still knocking pucks into the trash can (and risking your hands), do yourself a favor and get this. Works like a charm and makes espresso cleanup effortless. Highly recommend!
