I just tested them with command strips. The stronger/larger strips which is rated to hold weight more weight than the skateboard. Because the skateboard is extended from the wall, it creates a moment arm. This peels the "velcro" part of the command strip. This shows me the command strips are really meant to hang things that will have a pretty much purely veritcal pull down, flat things like pictures and such. I doubt the double sided tape would fair much better than the strips. **Q: how many come in each package? Ive got 12 boards I want to hang.** A: When I ordered, there was only 1 in the package! Came across this item and after reviews and looking at a video I decided to go with it. Not disappointed at all. Clean, sturdy and does exactly what it should do. The board looks brilliant up on his wall!! Only thing I will say is just a small thing is that holes for the bolts need to be either just slightly wider or threaded. As when you put bolts through the holes they dont go in straight and takes alot of fiddling to get them in properly.
