I bought this for my artists studio for the way it looks, but I love the storage capacity! Honestly for the money it’s a steal. It does have a slight odor which went away after about a week. I was not put off by it, but a heads up if you are sensitive that way.I use poly foam to pack the top of it, and folded clothes and linens until it’s almost overstuffed. It holds its shape exceptionally well, and greatly complements the leather butterfly chair that I also purchased here in Amazon (which I also love).The color was spot on as well, and it’s very well crafted. You won’t be sorry that you got this one.

It looked very dark in the advertising picture, almost black. That is why I ordered it but instead I got a regular brown of different shades that doesn't go with my decor. There is also a terrible chemical smell that fills the house! Do NOT buy this.Update: It STILL smells just as terrible as the first day. I regret buying it and will most likely end up throwing it away since I can’t donate something that smells so awful.

I am hoping to air it out for a few days- the leather odor is very strong.
