Been cycling for over 50 years. Used every lube known to man and this is by far the best. My chains last 3-4x longer with this lube vs traditional lubes, both wet and dry. This is a wax based lube that uses water as the carrier. The water evaporates and leaves a wax film on the chain. It may not run quite as clean as melted parafin waxed chain but it is very close and soooo much easier to use. I apply a small bead to each link and back pedal the chain as I pinch it between my thumb and index fingers, pushing the wax deep into the pins and rollers. After about 200 miles I wipe my chain down with a rag spayed with WD40 to remove any surface grime (usually there is very little) and reapply Squirt. I generally can get anywhere between 8-10k miles before my chain needs to be replaced. This is by far the most effective, clean running, easy to use lube available. I highly recommend this lube for all riding conditions, (wet/dry) (mountain/gravel/road). Works great in all conditions and all terrain.

This wax solution works great. I find that a couple of light applications (i.e. going twice around the chain) by squirting the wax onto my index finger in small amounts and then loading the wax sparingly onto the inside of the chain before a ride will last 100km+. Chain, cassette, rear deraileur and chain ring are then very easy to clean with hot detergent water between long rides to remove old excess wax build-up, before reapplication. Works a charm, and keeps everything very clean. Way way way better than oil- or silicon-based lubricants IMHO. And the best is it is water-based and environmentally benign. Hard to beat really...

This is a very high quality chain lube. Ive been using it ever since i first started 6 years ago. Its recommended you let it sit over night after application because the wax comes out a white liquid, and dries into a clear wax, after lubrication. Because its wax, it keeps the chain cleaner. With frequent, proper use of this product, your chains will last much, much longer! Clean your chain spotless, and free of all oils, before applying another coat. Simple as that. It's very expensive compared to similar-sized products. It works perfectly. I always use this on my chains. This product is second to none if you don't get it cold. Note: During the winter I put a bottle of this in my car and it was outside at freezing for a few days. This caused the product the turn into a gel. It's a wax, so I thought, I'll let this heat up to 70 degrees and it'll work. The product never came back I put it in warm water until it warmed up.(hot to the touch, but not so hot I couldn't keep my hand in in the whole time). I kept the bottle upright in the water to keep it from falling over. I still only use this on my chains. It's that good. Just don't let it get cold.

I ride XC MTB in FL where it's pretty flat but can get sandy and muddy. I've been using the Squirt Chain lube for 3-4 years now and have been happy with its effectiveness. Interestingly, when I check my chain it never seems to have much dirt or grime on it, even on the super dry/sandy days AND during the more wet/muggy days. It's pretty easy to apply and I don't have to do it very often. I also think that the value is there, it doesn't feel too expensive for what you're getting. One thing to note, I left it in my car and over time it became less liquid and therefore more difficult to squeeze out, so make sure to keep it somewhere that's not exposed to extreme temperatures. Excellent product. Reduces chain noise dramatically. The negative reviews that are out there suggest people are applying too much of the solution to their chains, thus causing a wax build up. I apply a single fairly even coat to the inside of the chain after thoroughly cleaning the chain using a degreaser. I allow the Squirt wax to penetrate the chain overnight. Allowing the Squirt to cure overnight is key. My chain only needs about one application every 500-600 miles. I also de-grease the chain each time I apply more Squirt. There really isn’t any grease on the chain when using this product, but the wax does turn sort of a gray color. A dry chain is a much cleaner chain, and that is what Squirt does. My drivetrain is much quieter and it lasts longer.

Hola. La cera funciona muy bien, no mancha ni coge suciedad la cadena. Recomiendo poner una gota a cada eslabón, y si puede ser la noche anterior mejor para que penetre por la parte móvil del mismo.
