More than that though, the design is good with LED's being in the end of the bulb as well as around it. Relatively compact given the output, the equivalent of 100w of light for around 90% less electricity consumption.If you're new to LED bulbs, they are so much better than fluorescents for a number of reasons:The are at their brightest immediately and don't require time to warm up,They use even less energy for the same light than a fluorescentYou have the option of a number of light colours, by that I mean you have a yellow colour (warm white like these) which is more like the fluorescent, good for ambiance like in the dining room where these are being used. The other colour, white light/daylight colour that allows me to see clearly if I am doing close up work or craft work is harsher so better for the kitchen or where you are doing fine work or reading. For me anyway but then again I have to wear glasses these days.These feel and look like well made and quality bulbs, because of this and the above, these are getting a 10/10 from me a definite recommendation. They have certainly brightened up the dining room ### ⭐ DANGEROUS *by H***H on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 December 2018* I have written this review, because I believe these bulls to be a potential fire risk.I bought the bulbs at the end of October 2017. However they have only been installed in my lights for less than three months.Two nights ago one bulb stared flashing in and off, followed by a crackling sound and emitting smoke that smelt of burning plastic.
