I have had this for a few years now and it’s one of my favorite purchases ever. I had a dog that she’d a lot when I first purchased it and it kept up with the hair and dust well even then. With the price of filters now skyrocketed, I’m sooooo glad I bought this, it has easily saved me over $1000 by now.I suggest buying two because when you clean the filter it needs to dry out before being put back in air vent. This may not be a problem in all climates but with the summer heat I keep my ac going all season.Does not rust, does not easily bend, many layers so excellent job trapping dust debris and hair before it goes in your system. Has caused no issues with my 20 year old ac and heat system.Love love love this product.

Excellent product - so far so good! I have saved a lot of money for disposable filter. This products will run for 10 years if you clean and wash in every 2-3 months in a year.

One of the best investments that I made for my condo! Easy to put in and easy to clean.Washable so I'm saving money and it's MERV 8 which works great for my HVAC. No more buying disposable filters every month.

I had a reusable furnace filter years ago that was fantastic, and saved me a lot of money over the years in filter replacement costs. But we had to replace our furnace several years back, and the new filter is quite a bit bigger, being 4 inches thick. If I can get a good deal when replacing the filter, a replacement filter is $45! So when I saw this, I jumped on it, even though the cost for my larger filter was near $100, my past experience with washable filters was great, and I knew that the cost savings would pay back in less than a year. At that time, the filter came with a bottle of detergent, used to spray and let the filter soak, then I would use a garden hose to flush out copious amounts of dirt that I had accumulated, so I knew that it was working quite well. In the winter, I would do the same process in the bathtub.Unfortunately, when this filter arrived, it was nothing like what I had experienced over 30 years ago with reusable furnace filters. Rather than being 20 in.² and 4 inches thick, it was more like 19 1/4 in.² and less than 4 inches thick. It would not even fit my furnace correctly. On top of that, my filters are thicker because it allows for more filter material to achieve higher filtration. But I could look through this filter and see that there is only the top and bottom layers with nothing but airspace in between. As others have mentioned, these can’t stop anything. And because I have had experience with a very good filter that is washable, I knew that this was nowhere near what it needed to be in order to actually filter.But thanks to amazon.com’s excellent customer service, I received a refund immediately. I’m a bit disappointed, but happy that Amazon stood behind me. My one star rating for this product is no reflection on Amazon. I can’t really speak for the Ubeesize company except with regard to this particular experience, but I will say that I went to their website and found that they don’t seem to specialize in this product, but rather they sell a wide variety of different products. My suspicion is that the other positive reviews here for the reusable furnace filter, at best, are for a previously excellent product that has been replaced with a cheap fraud. Maybe the company doesn’t realize this.My advice is to steer clear.

My technician came out to service. My heat pump said that this filter is allowing way too much cat hair to get into the filter, which is allowing my compressor on my heat pump to overheat so I will no longer be using this. I live in Arizona and he said they are not meant for the dust in Arizona

Actually size was smaller than 14, which leaves a gap and causes air to pass through unfiltered. I don't understand the rationale why the actual size was designed to be slightly smaller than 14

I was a bit dubious but I've found this to be a great and efficient way to save on furnace filters which are going up in price along with everything else. A good, solid, well-made filter that will last, they say, for twenty years or more. Just rinse and wash with a bit of detergent every couple of months and you have a brand new filter again.
