Just what I needed.
After almost 2 years, my HP Chromebook X2 needed some help. It comes with a stylus which is secured to the keyboard deck with an elastic loop. My loop became too loose over time so the the stylus would slip out easily while carrying the device, so that I feared losing the stylus. Then I came across this product. I cleaned the area where I would adhere it to the keyboard deck with alcohol and stuck it on. It works perfectly and the stylus is now very secure. I left the original loop as well, so the stylus isn't going anywhere.Of course I have had it for only 2 weeks, so I cannot comment on its long term durability other than to say it is at least as good as the original loop so I expect at least as long a service life. And I have 4 more in the pack if I need to replace it. It is unobtrusive, secure, and attractive. It does the job!

Must have for notebooks
Works really well for moleskine notebooks. Does add a bit more thickness but not a huge problem

Nice loop -- I just wish it was thinner
It seems all loops of this kind are attached to a vinyl pleather, and this one is no exception. The loop holds my Lenovo stylus well, and it adheres well to my IdeaPad Flex (time will tell about adhesion) but for me it would be nicer if it were thinner. I don't need fake leather under my computer or tablet, and depending on the device (my Chromebook for example) that small thickness causes a wobble. Fair price, solid product.

At last! A way to keep stylus with my tablet!
I cannot remember how long I have been looking for a means to secure my capacitive-tip stylus to my tablet without plugging it into the tablet's earphone jack. Since it was attached with what I thought was a handy-dandy elastic cord, I was fairly certain that I wouldn't lose track of it. But if I opted to use the earphone jack or just listen to an audible book, I had to unplug the stylus on the elastic cord and guess what? --- poof, it disappeared! Also, my youngest cat thought that a stylus on an elastic thread was a great toy. When he got tired of batting it around, he would chew through the elastic cord and make off with it dragging the stylus away with him. Now, the problem is solved. I was even able to secure the adhesive loop holder to the tablet and still use it encased in my favorite Moko silicone protective case [love it, too!]. The elastic stylus loop fits perfectly through the pre-cut opening for the tablet's SD card. I can now carry the tablet around with the stylus securely affixed and not dangling and banging around. Will be getting more of these pen/stylus loop holders for friends and family. Such a simple solution and so effective!

These are incredibly handy. On my third pack. I put them on notebooks and planners. They’re very robust. Never had a problem.

Does the job perfectly!
I bought these so I could mount my stylus to the side of my 2-in-1 chromebook. The adhesive is good and strong and the pads are thin enough so as to not interfere with using the device in tablet mode. I put two on my laptop and they securely hold my stylus pen.I love that I always have my pen available with my laptop! The pads feel good and sturdy, but even if they do wear out they are cheap enough to replace. I recommend this product for any 2-in-1 user who likes to write by hand!

OK. Foam adds significantly to thickness of journal. Only very small diameter pens fit!
Summary: OK. Foam adds significantly to thickness of journal. Only very small diameter pens fit!So, I'm a notepad nerd. I love the look, the feel, the smell... you get the point. If you are not, read something else.I have a really old, really loved, gorgeous cognac-colored leather notepad cover of unusual dimensions (4.1x6.51) for which refills are no longer made (moment of silence and sadness, please). For the pen to fit (in the spine), the notepad cannot be wider than 3.25, max. I could only find notepads too big or too small (which just looks weird). Yes, aesthetics matter. Don't judge.Anyway, after finding the Leuchtturm1917 hardcover Classic will fit, I was satisfied. Problem is, there is no longer room for the pen (squirreled away inside the spine). So I was on the hunt for an after-market pen holder. Leuchtturm's are frankly ridiculously overpriced. So I searched far and wide and found these. I was hoping to find one with NO FOAM BACKING. But, alas, this is all that's out there (on Amazon at least). So I've attached some pics for the freakishly obsessive amongst you. As you can see, it does a beautiful job of snugging the pen up tight and close to the pages (MOST important), and holding the pen firmly (NEXT most important). I've not found a problem with stickiness on leather -- works fine. The problem is, the adhesive is foam backed and so THICK that it BULKS up the closed depth and looks EXCEEDINGLY UNATTRACTIVE (when the pen is not holstered). In fact, when exposed, it looks cringe-worthy UNATTRACTIVE (see pic) against my beautiful rich caramel colored leather. Perhaps more importantly, the solid fold which holds the cover closed without a fastener (honed over years!) no longer keeps it closed. That extra 1/8 of an inch in the back now actually makes a difference! It flops open when not in hand. Anyway. One does what one must. So, there you have it.Oh, one last thing. As you can see, I've included a pic of A PEN -- I love these pens. But they are very thin (25mm circumference), and some men I know don't like how they feel in the hand. It is virtually impossible to shove larger sized pens in without using two hands.... and forget about anything with a gel or rubber comfort band. The pen has to be smooth and slick to slide in (and there will still be slight resistance, which is a good thing). So if you use chubbier pens or markers -- these are not for you.So. Yes, they do their job. For utility: 5 stars. For aesthetics: 2 stars. Compromise: 3 stars
