**Q: where exactly does the big and little springs go,when i took apart the spring fell out?**
A: In the photo, the small spring goes on the brass piece on the upper side.  It pushes the brass part backward to lock the big piece of metal into position.  The larger spring goes on the lower side and fits into the recess in the lower case and upward around the post in the large piece of metal.

**Q: Is this fit 2005 jeep grand cherokee laredo**
A: I have no idea it fit my 2003 TJ 4.0l

**Q: Fit for 07 pt cruiser?**
A: No problem

**Q: Will this fit my 2014 jeep compass**
A: I doubt it since everything it fits is older than 2006.
